As we begin the public phase of Mercy’s capital campaign, we reach another milestone. Thanks to the generosity of numerous Mercy supporters, we are over $2.1 million in gifts and pledges to Passion for the Future: The 50th Anniversary Campaign. Our goal is to reach $3 million.
Dear Friend of Mercy,
We are excited to announce Mercy High School’s Passion for the Future: The 50th Anniversary Campaign. It is an honor to serve as co-chairs of this initiative that will take our school to the next level of excellence.
As an alumna and a parent of an alumna, we have personally experienced the tremendous impact a Mercy education has on the young women it serves. With this Campaign, we support substantial and much-needed improvements to our science labs and campus. We also address the ever-growing need for tuition assistance and to attract, retain, and develop quality faculty.
At Mercy we welcome the challenges of Passion for the Future. We are pleased to announce that we are close to $2 million in gifts and pledges from a number of generous donors. Their names are listed on the website here. We thank them for their support.
Now we are reaching out to all members of the Mercy community, asking you to join us in support of this initiative. Together, we can make a difference for Mercy students now and in the future. Think about the difference Mercy has made in your life. Give back to Mercy, in the very best way you can – through a contribution or pledge to Passion for the Future.
Now is the time for us to guarantee that current and future generations of students continue to receive an exceptional Mercy education, guided by the values of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy.
Sincerely,

Mary Anne Heckwolf, Class of 1966 John W. Hershberger II, Alumna Parent, 1993
No work…can be more productive…than the careful instruction of women…since whatever station they are destined to fill, their example and their advice will always have great influence; and wherever a God-fearing woman presides, peace and good order are generally to be found. – Catherine McAuley
